The international shipping event ‘Maritime Days in Odessa 2012’ will be held in Odessa on 31 May – 2 June 2012 in the Landmark Hotel Bristol 5*.


This year the well-known international event ‘Practice of Maritime Business’ will be focused on the task of project cargo transportation in the Black Sea region. It will be the International Conference ‘Practice of Maritime Business. Project Cargo Black Sea 2012’.

Organizers: International Law Offices (Interlegal) and Ukrainian Shipbrokers’ Club.

The conference will cover the issues on transportation, logistics and new technologies for out-of-gage cargo. It will give practical solutions for all parties to the sea carriages. Conference is a unique opportunity to meet the leading transport and logistics operators, shipping lines and terminals.


The Event ‘Maritime Days in Odessa 2012’ is supported by London Maritime Arbitrators Association (LMAA), Nautical Institute of Ukraine (NIU), American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine (ACC), International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), Remedy Law firm and Odessa Commercial Sea Port.

The conference ‘Practice of Maritime Business’ brings world leaders of shipping business together for the eighth time this 2012 year. It gathers about 150 participants from more than 10 countries every year. The issues raised at the conference are interesting and useful for cargo owners, freight brokers, ports and terminals. The participants get maximum knowledge in transport, logistics and other maritime issues and highly skilled services of conference management.

The Shipbrokers’ Club celebrates the one year old relationships between their members, and this year the Club will welcome Maritime Days Conferences’ attendees to a grand gala featuring dinner and cocktails, live music and dancing in Otrada Beach Club on the 1st of June 2012.

Terms of Participation & Registration

‘Loans Received from Non-Residents’ was the name of the seminar held in the premises of the Southern Commercial Regional Department of the PJSC ‘UniCreditBank’ on the 8th of December 2011. The seminar was organized under the initiative of ‘Interlegal’ together with ‘UniCreditBank’. It was free being addressed to the top managers and owners of the business.

The President of Ukraine, Viktor Yanukovich, vetoed the Law ‘On Sea Ports of Ukraine’ adopted by the Verkhovna Rada and sent the bill back to the parliament with his propositions. The President notes that the legal collision will appear in case of signing the law as the provisions of the document on the port water basin will contradict the provisions of the Water Code of Ukraine. In particular, the draft provides that the water basin of a sea port is defined as a part of the water object outside the navigation pass to be granted to the port under the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers. But a separate decision on allotment of the water fund land is not taken.
