II-nd conference "Law Firm Management"

3-4 December 2 conference of IBA took place in the hotel “Renaissance”, Moscow. The organizers of the events were Law Firm Management Committee, European Forum of the International Bar Association together with LegalStudies.RU.
This year once again two representatives of the law firm INTERNATIONAL LAW OFFICES Natalya Shpak and Olena Losevska participated in the present conference.

3 December: there was a solemn presentation of the first publication of the Resolutions of the International Bar Association (IBA) in Russian.

4 December: the principal day of the conference, in its course the sessions on the following subjects were held:

- Legal profession regulation in Western Europe: what does contribute and interfere with legal business development.

- Are the lawyers governed or not? Grading, motivation, leadership, compensation, HR role.

- Marketing and law firm promotion.

- Law firms M & A: development strategy of independent law firms in Western Europe.

- Antimonopoly regulation.

In these events, the president if IBA Mr. Fernando Pombo and the first deputy head of the Federation Council Mr. Aleksandr Torshin participated.

At the end of the conference, the president of IBA made a state reception.
