Constituent Conference of the Solicitors

Mr. Aleksandr Chebotarenko, the Senior Lawyer of the International Law Offices has been elected as the member of the Council of Solicitors in the Odessa Region

 

Due to adoption of the new Law of Ukraine on Advocacy, the Constituent Conference of the Solicitors of the Odessa Region took place on the 6th of October 2012 in Odessa, at the Stolyarskiy’s School. More than 200 solicitors took part in its work. The conference was held in democratic working atmosphere which is confirmed by the vivid and sometimes even heated discussion concerning the agenda and the problems exciting the solicitors.

 

Under the new law the Regional Council of Solicitors is the authority which represents regional solicitors between the conferences. At the conference decision the Council has included 17 solicitors. We are glad to mention that our colleague, the solicitor Chebotarenko Aleksandr Vasilyevich, the Senior Lawyer of the International Law Offices, has been elected as a member of the Council of Solicitors in the Odessa Region which included both honoured representatives of old guard of the solicitors and the representatives of the young generation of the solicitors.
