`Interlegal` continues to expand the scope of its main practice – maritime and transport law.
The Partners of Interlegal Arthur Nitsevych and Nikolay Melnykov have launched a new legal practice in Georgia during the business trip to this country. During the first week of April the partners visited Maritime Administration of Georgia, Ministry of Economy, transport and insurance companies in Tbilisi, ports and terminals in Poti and Batumi where they held the numerous meetings with clients and new partners.
The Maritime Transport industry in Georgia lacks the professional consultants and experts in the field of maritime transport law and international trade. For the last several years `Interlegal` has been cooperating with Georgia remotely. According to the unambiguous opinion of the experts dealing with maritime business in Georgia, such practice has been launched just in time.
“I believe that presence of reputable international law firm in Georgia is beneficial for all parties concerned”, said Capt. Mamuka AKHALADZE, Director at Maritime Transport Agency of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia.
The permanent representative of `Interlegal` in Georgia is Edward Matchavariani (CEO of ASSA TransCaucasus).
