Interlegal settled claims of Novorossiysk Customs against the ship owner

Interlegal completed settlement of administrative proceedings against the ship owner in the port of Novorossiysk (the Russian federation). The case was initiated according to Part 1 Article 16.2 of the Administrative Violations Code of the Russian Federation – failure to declare goods which are the subject to customs declaration. The present article provides administrative fine with confiscation.

On board of the vessel there were detected two line-throwing rockets with expired operation life which were not duly declared -that was the cause of proceedings.

Experts of Interlegal managed to prove price calculation of detected equipment unreal and so fine calculation too. Finally, the written-off goods were confiscated and utilized successfully and administrative proceedings were closed.
