Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine approved zero VAT rate for grain exports. The declared norm was provided by amendment 236 to the changes into the Tax Code and other Laws of Ukraine concerning simplified tax system # 8521. Before the voting the Minister of Finances Fedor Yaroshenko applied to the deputies to
reject the stated amendment, and noted that its realization will cause the budget losses at the level of 5 bln UAH. However, his offer was not supported by the deputies and the amendment remained in force. The Law comes into force on January 1, 2012.
